Lazy Cat Lounge and Cafe
Lazy Cat Lounge was the very first cat café to open in the Greater Rochester area. Lisa & Todd were able to provide an invaluable resource to the local rescue community. There was now a safe and comfortable place for the invisible rescue kitties to have a chance at meeting their fur-ever families. People were now able to visit adoptable rescue kitties in a lounge space, set up to resemble a living room, where the kitties were acclimated and able to truly let their personalities shine through.

Koneko Cat Cafe
Koneko means “kitten” in Japanese, and we take our inspiration from cat cafés in Japan, where the concept has flourished. When we opened Koneko back in 2016, few people here in America understood what a cat café was. But cat cafés caught on, and now there are hundreds of them all across the US — and countless cats have been adopted as a result.
Located on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Koneko has an artisanal Japanese- influenced menu, house-made desserts, plus beer, wine, and sake – and a big, furry family of adoptable cats. Our kitties roam freely around three cat-centric spaces: The sunlit Upper Cattery, the warm and cozy Lower Cattery, and a first-of-its-kind outdoor Catio.

Brooklyn Cat Cafe
We are proud to be one of the earliest cat cafes in the US, and the first to launch in New York City’s most populous borough. We’re the only cafe in the city run by a non-profit animal rescue organization. The cafe opened in May 2016 at a storefront location in historic Brooklyn Heights. Since then, we have welcomed an average of over 35,000 visitors during a normal year.

Alley Cat Cafe
Well, we’re a regular ol’ cafe, with coffee, lattes, baked goods, and sandwiches. Oh, and a room full of cats! We work with the local Browncoat Cat Rescue to host their cats until they are adopted. Our cat room (separate from the dining area) is their temporary home until their forever home is found! Catpurrccinos Cat Cafe
What makes the concept of a cat cafe so unique, is that while operating as one, the food & beverage component and the cattery are two completely separate elements. What this means in that if you are allergic or simply not an animal person, you can enjoy delicious food and beverages, while admiring the cattery through a large window overlooking the space. Buckminster's Cat Cafe
Buckminster’s Cat Cafe is a dynamic space for cat lovers and coffee lovers on Buffalo’s vibrant west side. We provide a unique, feline-centric atmosphere for meeting and interacting with cats in need of forever homes. We have partnered with Second Chance Sheltering Network, Inc., a local cat rescue organization, to populate our Cat Zone with good-natured, adoptable cats.
Our dual-zone space (separated physically into a cafe area and a cat meeting area) is also a stylish neighborhood cafe serving locally-roasted coffee, craft beer, fine wines, and a small menu of sweet and savory food items (including vegan and gluten-free options).
